Product Engineering
React, Next.js, Angular, Ionic, and React Native work across real product surfaces, not just demos.
I build full-stack products across web, mobile, APIs, and AWS. These days that mostly means learning-platform integrations at UQ, with a practical interest in using AI where it actually helps a team move faster.

Current focus
Learning-platform integrations, event-driven services, AWS, and small AI workflows that are useful in day-to-day engineering.
React, Next.js, Angular, Ionic, and React Native work across real product surfaces, not just demos.
Node.js, TypeScript, ASP.NET Core, PHP APIs, AWS Lambda, ECS Fargate, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront, and DynamoDB.
Microservices, event-driven flows, API design, caching, CI/CD, and the less glamorous work of keeping services healthy.
OpenAI, Claude, Bedrock, LangChain, RAG, function calling, MCP, and small AI workflows that fit into normal engineering work.
Experience
Work across university platforms, mobile products, cloud services, and a few independent builds that still show how I think through systems.
The University of Queensland
Sep 2025 - Present
Working on learning-platform integrations, event-driven services, and AWS-hosted microservices used by staff and students.
Simpro
Jun 2023 - Aug 2025
Built mobile features and production APIs, fixed customer-facing issues, modernised legacy code, and worked on AI/ML hackathon projects that won internal awards.
Selected Work
Recent professional work comes first. Older projects stay here only where they still say something useful about how I build.
Enterprise platform
Blackboard integrations, event-driven services, AWS workloads, logging, and CI/CD work for university learning systems.
Product engineering
Technician-facing mobile workflows, API sync, legacy cleanup, and LLM/RAG experiments for contextual task support.

Independent build
A browser notebook for writing Markdown and running JavaScript, built with Monaco, esbuild, IndexedDB, and published packages.

Team leadership
Led a six-person team building a Flutter meal-planning app with nutrition reports and offline TensorFlow Lite recognition.
